"Just what you imagine a country pub should be. Friendly welcome great beer and food, feels so relaxed. Only downside, had to leave at 7:40 to get to university parks parkrun so missed breakfast."

"The Angel is situated in the historic and picturesque village of Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire. The building is centuries old which is reflected in the architecture. I had a very comfortable room and a bed that allowed a really good sleep. There were plenty of dining options within a short drive. I took a walk into the village which presented some wonderfully thatched cottages and buildings. Breakfast was really tasty with ingredients that were obviously locally sourced. I would look to stay here in the future."

"The lady who greeted us and bar staff were very polite and friendly. Food was excellent. Room were ok, not in our opinion boutique, but quirky.Yes the beds are very squeaky. Rooms could possibly could benefit from a little TLC. Saying that the price and location to Bicester village was the reason we booked.The only other thing is the confusion over breakfast included. This could be an error of the hotel or the website. Nether the less, breakfast is not included. "
