Having arrived in the evening during the check in times we were not pleased that the hotel was shut. We were also not pleased that the bar and restaurant were not open on either of our two days stay as we expected they would be.

Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday.

Waddesdon stay

We enjoyed our stay at The Five Arrows in a lovely suite which was cosy and relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast service was prompt and courteous.
