"We only had a short stay there but the hotel and rooms are spotless, staff friendly and helpful, excellent food and well stocked bar. Ample parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to go back again. Thanks guys and gals 👍"

"A lovely friendly welcome from Michael at reception. All the staff were great. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fan was a definite bonus in the hot weather although the room stayed fairly shaded too. There was some traffic noise but it didn't disrupt my sleep at all (room 16). The cooked breakfast was tasty and piping hot and and you could alter any items you wanted; really set you up for the day ahead. I found walking along the busy road, to the bus stop, with no...

"The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasty. It’s centrally located for walking the city & near restaurants. The only thing to fix is the street which is blocked for construction, so you can only use one end of the street to get there."

"Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again."

"Dated room , smelled of smoke , the bathroom door lock was broken . Noise from room next door from 3-4 am . Hotel doesn’t do food , we didn’t know we had to pay for parking that was another £15. We were only there from 9 pm till before 8 am the next day . Wouldn’t return "
