"Had a lovely stay at Union Street. Very clean. Bed was comfortable and facilities were excellent. Great location for the Cathedral quarter of the city and close to some amazing restaurants. Only issue was the parking having to pay for parking when the advert stated freebies such as self parking. "

"Difficult to find and very problematic checking in. Digital check in never opened for me. The only way I was able to get into my room was that I was let in by a management person. I didn’t leave for dinner because I was afraid I’d be locked out. I wanted to drop my luggage around noon so I could see the sites without suitcase in tow but since there is no on site staff and no check in until 4 that was not possible. Please come up with a solution for travelers who need to store luggage. "

"This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill!
Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from.
We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug.
Just a few minutes walk to the steep hill and then onto the shopping centre and round to the waterfront.
There is plenty of car parking around the hotel but you do need to pay. It was just over £10 for 24 hours, so factor that in if you are on a budget. There is a lovely cafe next to the hotel. A tapas bar, Indian and pub within a stones throw. The Indian restaurant is well worth a trip but book if you can as we had to wait for a table as it’s busy.
Will definitely stay here again. Staff were really friendly. Especially the breakfast lady! "
"It's student halls and exactly as described. The bed was comfortable, good wifi and shower. I had to ask the night security for bedding, towels and toilet roll & all was solved quickly. There isn't parking on site, there are paying car parks but it does add a bit to the overall price, as all streets are permit, just if helps for planning time and trip. The kitchen wasn't available to use, but the info said it would be, not too much trouble but maybe useful to know which it is. No kettle or any facilites in the room. Good value, comfort and quiet for what you pay for and would stay again. "
