「Lovely clean room . Fantastic kitchen to use 」

「The staff and service at the guesthouse was very accommodating. My room was a nice size. It was clean, but I cleaned it more to my liking. One thing that was bothersome was, the other guests weren't as courteous and therefore nights early mornings weren't so peaceful. 」

「Interior is very tatty and cheaply done. The plug in the bath didn't work all floors were peeling and lifting even in the bathroom and overall everything looked old and grubby. Very pleased we only stayed for one night」

「Communication from them was fantastic, they let you know everything you need to do to access the property. Room was lovely and clean. Directions to property were very clear (unless you're an idiot like me who doesn't read them properly!) Had one issue in the early hours of the morning as the room next door was being really noisy but I messaged the property and they sorted it out within about 5 mins. Would happily stay here again.」

「Room was clean, no visible parking and noone to ask when returning with the car at 11.30pm. Took 20minutes to check in because the boss wasnt around and he wanted cash until I refused to go to a cash machine. Felt sorry for the lady as it wasnr her fault, just lazy boss. 」

「VERY outdated! The pictures make it seem more modern than it is but old wardrobes, old curtains, old hairdryer, old desk and chairs. The corridors are very old and smell of cigarette smoke. The bed was dirty with what looked like blood stain and white stains on the head board. Windows were very thin and I could hear the traffic clearly. 」

「Stayed at the Black Dog Inn in Bolton for two nights. The room itself was comfortable enough for the price, so no major complaints there. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The first night was a write-off in terms of sleep. Staff gave a late booking to a couple who had been drinking in the pub, and they stayed up most of the night with the TV on at a very high volume.
