He didn’t try to sell any additional services or tours etc. but was available anytime we needed assistance - even arranging Tuk Tuk journeys when we were elsewhere to come and pick us up and not be scammed by some others that were waiting to take advantage. On the positive side, the rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, the location is fine, ten minutes walk to the beach and a couple of minutes to the bus stop into Galle, pleasant surroundings with the occasional monkey sighting and plenty of stripy squirrels.
