"When we got there it turned out that Hotels.com messed up on our reservation and the hotel never received it and had already filled up all their rooms that night. The owner went out of his way to find us another guesthouse nearby, and allowed us to go back the next day to store our luggage while we went up Pilatus."

"Owners are a very nice, friendly couple. Remote location from Luzern. No breakfast but were offered free coffee or tea. Ten francs to use grill. Shared bath (not private as advertised). Room size OK for two but "No picnic in room!" We did not see any "free toiletries" and initially were provided only one bath towel to use for two people."
