"Staff were not very helpful or friendly. The cleaning of room was lacking, when I arrived I did not have soap or lotion in my room. Breakfast buffet was terrible. The eggs were powdered eggs! I would not recommend this place."

"They charge extra for parking, which is on top of the $40 a day resort fee and taxes. The property is nice, but the pool is unclean. Great location!"

"We were at the property for the biggest storm in 95 years and they did such a good job of keeping things safe for us and getting the hot tub and pool up and running as soon as possible when the storm settled down. We had a great time. Room was very clean, it was quiet, and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. Would definitely stay here again. "

"As a resort, they did want you to go to a seminar to consider a rental property, but were declined. The rooms seemed a bit dated, though clean and spacious (we had the junior suite). I would’ve loved a few more free amenities for the cost. There was a daily fee to use the gym, for example. Breakfast wasn’t included and you only get one 20% off coupon. For the price, I just would’ve expected a few more perks, like the cookies at Embassy Suites."

"We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pool area was very nice. There isn't much beach right out from the resort but it is a close walk to the main beach area. "

"Shocked the moment we checked in we were hit with a large cleaning fee.. The air-conditioning didn’t work.. The floors were too dirty to walk barefoot. Street noise was unbelievable. The view was spectacular. Needed an engineering degree to operate the television remote. The rain, that’s mother nature - can’t do anything about her."

"All of staff was very friendly through out the whole stay. Very accommodating when it came to extending day for late check out since my flight was at 9pm. Grounds were kept up even when first Kona low came through. "

"This is our third time staying in Sheraton in Kaanapali. Unfortunately, despite the premium location, the resort is getting older and older and in desperate need of renovation. Seems that lobby was recently renovated, but rooms need help. Our ocean view room had crack in the sink, no vent in the bathroom and multiple layers of pain that was chipping. It probably would not matter that much if weather would be better during our stay, because due to the tropical storm we were forced to spend a lot of time inside and definitely noticed all things that need to be repaired. I am not even going to describe the state of the gym... Great location, extremely outdated rooms."
