"The positive things about this hotel are the lovely staff, who were always friendly and helpful, and the location - it’s very near the station and tram stops. We loved the ski-theme reflected in all the details throughout, and you are able to store luggage before and after check-in/check-out too, which is always a bonus. There are a few things which could be improved. The rooms are clean enough, but certainly not spotless, for example whilst the sink, shower and toilet were clean, we found a hair clip and a tiny gold-coloured loop on the floor which indicate the floor cleaning wasn’t thorough, and there was a hand print on the window. We had a chill out alm double room which although large with a sofa, was rather dark; the mood lighting is good, but there isn’t enough lighting when you need it. Some maintenance is needed too - the curtains look fine, but the linings are threadbare, meaning that light shines through the small holes in the morning. Our toilet extractor fan ran continuously, whether the light was on or not. All the toilets in the lobby/restaurant were out of use - another demonstration of lacking maintenance. There were no tea or coffee-making facilities in our room which is highly unusual in any hotel. Overall, you get what you pay for, and considering how expensive Munich can be, we found the price point to be just about fair. Would we stay again? I wouldn’t say no - but most likely we would try somewhere else."

"Great location easy access to Munich HB, clean lovely facility, helpful staff. The room was ready before check in time which helped our journey quite a bit. Having laundry on site was also a great perk. The property has no air conditioning but the staff was able to provide a fan so that dramatically helped. The weather wasn't so hot yet so it wasn't a big problem. However, the street can be loud sometimes at night. So if you need to leave the windows open at night, have some earplugs handy."

"The concierge is never available. Never on time when we are told they start. Very limited hours and support for a hotel of this stature. Also, i had them ship a package for me. That took over a month to get done. No follow up. This is the same hotel that when Covid started and I wasn’t allowed top fly into Munich Germany they refused to reimburse me. Kept my money and never offered a credit of any kind. Finally. Try and reach them. Very difficult via phone.."

"When we arrived there were two people fighting outside the hotel door blocking our way into check-in, check-in was straight forward and no stress, the lifts were working and medium size, rooms were adorned with colourful tropical bird wall paper, even though the hotel was oldish the rooms felt modernised inside, carpet was in good condition and there was underfloor heating in the bathroom. Bed was 2 singles put together but was comfortable and had 2 pillows each with a roller for back or leg comfort. The only negative was the location was in a so called Red Light area with strip clubs and late night adult activities. Positive was it was just a 6min walk to Munich Train station which we used to travel from Salzburg and then onto Cologne. Good value property 3.5/5"
