"I have stayed at The Palm before and stay was fantastic. The cottage was spotless and warm and inviting. Quiet and peaceful. Will stay again. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Don’t even worry a whim about staying at The Palm Motel. Its location is ideal and air conditioning or heat is great."

"Great location near the SOU campus featuring clean, convenient accommodations, helpful staff, and a few minor quirks. The rooms are spotless, the pool is great, and having laundry facilities is very convenient. However, the A/C is loud, the bathroom layout is quite tight, and the shower needs better lighting. Note that there is no ice machine or water refilling station, and the advertised "garden" is just a basic grassy area with trees which has a potential to become a peaceful garden for guests to use. Location-wise, it is tough to beat—right next door to The Morning Glory Cafe (Thursday–Monday) and just a short drive from local restaurants, Safeway, the Ashland Co-Op and downtown."
