「There was no complimentary breakfast」

「Arrived after 9 PM but was provided with a phone number to call an employee of my arrival so I could check in and receive my key after providing my card number over the phone. Minimal parking but next to the motel there is a restaurant within view so I parked my vehicle there. Unit A/C was great and was left running for when I arrived. King size bed was comfortable overall but there was an indent so if two people would be sleeping there it would not be ideal. Coffee machine worked perfectly....

「The room was very clean, something as a former maid I always look for. Staff was very helpful. We loved the soaps and staff was great about finding which particular soap brand used and even a store location for us. Motel was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs, we didn't plan to cook any meals but morning tea and coffee were much appreciated. 「The check in experience was so bad that they did not find my reservation. And they have to keep calling their manager who is not on site to find out more information. Finally they want me to re-book with them again and pay on site. I told them that I have a booking with Hotels.com, they keep saying they cannot find the reservation. I spent at least 30 minutes at the front desk and still couldn't resolve the problem. It made me think they want to charge me twice.」
