"The grounds were lovely with beautiful flowers, lawn games and an ocean view. The location is convenient to Belfast and points north or south on route one. Dogs are frequent guests at the inn, so bear that in mind. The manager was responsive and thorough with an issue that arose. I was pleased with the manner in which it was resolved. "

"Attached to the hotel is the Governor's restaurant (the pictures that show bakery items under glass). Pool and hot tub are well maintained, I see maintenance and staff all around the property from early hours until late. Grab and Go breakfast choices on par with many breakfast options from most hotel chains. Super awesome desk staff, Genn and Julie were very helpful with sites for various topics around town, and requests. "

"This is an outstanding historical property, gorgeous inside and out. Our hosts are friendly, accomodating, and highly talented in the kitchen. The room was spotless, private, and very comfortable. The yard was spectacular, with a fountain, sculptures, and large lawn even including a visiting young family of deer. Great view of the ocean from the front porch."
