"The poor clerk was on the phone when we checked in, but after completing it he was nice enough. The room is ok. Smelled musty upon entry and the carpet felt damp to our feet. "The apartment has an "industrial" decor. The floor is cement (and cold) and the rooms are very darkly decorated. It had a man-cave feel to it. Did not spend time in Troutville other than the hotel. Stayed there because of our sister’s graduation at Liberty University. We did love that Cracker Barrel was just next door (in walking distance).
