「This is a resort out where you wouldn't expect to find one. Beautiful pool and tropical setting. Bar and restaurant are in a building separate of the rooms. Everyone on staff was nice and helpful. They have 2 bedroom apartments. Some for families and others for groups without children. The family units are on the first floor and face the streets and are more utilitarian (easier to clean and less to break or mess up). The ones on the second floor are nicer. The staff are always friendly and willing to go that extra mile with making suggestions for places to visit, activities and dining options. There is plenty to do in Port Douglas with including some wonderful Barrier Reef tours and some beautiful restaurants. The Rooms are always beautiful and clean with fresh bed linens and the beds are very comfortable. Can’t wait to return again .」

The pool is not very big but set in a fabulous tropical setting, very refreshing any time of the day. We felt at home and will keep a found memory of our stay in Le Cher du Monde.」

Great facilities at the pool (fridge, BBQ) and the room had everything we needed (plates, bowls and cutlery, and two bath towels each plus swimming towels for the pool/beach). 「We had a room on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. It was great, the facilities were nice and clean and it was quiet too. Not having any kids there made a huge difference noise wise. I would definitely go back and stay again. Just a short walk to the town centre with everything you need for a good holiday right there.」
