"The hotel is new and very typical. We had a wilderness room which was spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. However the bathroom, although new, seemed basic. I would appreciate a screen between shower and toilet, lack of screen means the toilet gets wet. The cleaning of the room is every other day. However we stayed three nights and the room was never made. I think to ask 25 euros for a WhatsApp message for the aurora alert is ridiculous, it should be complimentary. Food choice is reasonable...

"Multiple options to get to and from the airport. We got in late so we took a taxi was about $40 for a family of 4. There is a shuttle that goes to or near most of the hotels we took that back to the airport it was about $25. The hotel is convenient to most of the city center. Nothing was more than a few blocks away. Especially if you have tours booked liked we did. The room was spacious, which was nice since we were there for 4 nights. Great breakfast, lots of options. Definitely worth...

"This was my 2nd time to Tromso,the last being in November of last year. On both occasions I chose a Clarion Hotel, two next to each other. Whilst this one did not have views from the rooms looking out to the Artic Cathedral this did not matter. The hotel was only a few steps away from the harbor. Whilst all the staff I met were very welcoming the young female Filipino on the front desk went the extra mile sourcing a plug to fit my uk items. She is a credit in providing excellent customer service...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was super convenient. The room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing!! Our only issue was that the room was not always restocked with cups and such. And there was a couple days that we didn't have the cleaning crew didn't come in and do the whole turnover. But, overall the hotel was clean and we would stay there again!"

"Stayed here for 2 nights in a superior double and everything met our expectations. The room was spacious and breakfast very good. In the evening a light evening meal was provided which was a welcome surprise consisting of soup salad cheeses and hams juices coffee and delicious fresh bread, very good! "The chalets were very comfortable, 2 separate rooms and decent sized single beds (some very tiny ones down in Abisko!). Sauna was wonderful! Views in the morning were stunning (we were second row from the front). Kitchen had what we needed and the food in Hotel Fjallet itself was delicious. On the down side, the numbers of the chalets were not marked particularly well and Reception couldn't book us a table for dinner, we had to go onto the website which was faffy but all good in the end. "
