Centrally located, convenient hotel.

Verden Hotel is located in the center of Lakselv, close to restaurants, shops, and services. This is why we chose the hotel. The room was small for $200 after taxes, and the charge for a second person. It’s comfortable enough, but not renovated. The service was fine, but not polished. The breakfast was good, and there is a restaurant, which one of the better ones in Lakselv.

Bathtub placement is a safety hazard.

The overnight stay was payed by bonus points = i probably got the worst rom at the hotel. It was clean, fridge in the rom, good bed, good parking, tip-top breakfast. But on the bathroom they had a bathtub that about 15cm intruding the door into bathroom. Bathtub had no side panels = sharp edges around the bathtub, feet and brackets for fastening side panels. It's not a safety conscious decision but a clear oversight.

Easy to arrive but you may end up to a terrible ro

No greetings when we arrived, this seemed a little bit strange. Our room in a second floor had a terrible smell and the front desk lady told me she couldn't change our room. Then I noticed the shower was also broken. This time a very helpful front desk gentlemen changed our room to another on the third floor. Breakfast was ok.

Bodde to netter på hotellet! Trange bad, ingen sted å sette toalettsaker! Trangt ved wc! Men frokosten var ikke bra! Kaffemaskinen var ofte tom og det gikk tomt for brød før alle gjestene var kommet ned! Gode å rene senger!

Teppegulv på rommet, som stinket! Både heis, gang og rom stinket. Verdensrekord i lite bad, og mye støy fra restaurant i første etg. Frosset brød til frokost, og baconet var ugjenkjennelig, så stelt var det.

OK hotel midt i Lakselv sentrum

Verdde hotell ligger midt i byen og dette er andre gang vi bruker det. De har gjort en fin jobb med å pusse opp og oppgradere restaurant og lobby, men rommene er fortsatt enkle og spesielt bad er lav standard. Mye kunne vært gjort med enkle grep, og ikke minst med personale som ikke er serviceinnstilt. Vi følte nesten vi var til bry når vi kom. Dette er lett å fikse og alle bør føle seg velkommen som kunder. restauranten har en fin meny, men gjennomføringen på spesielt Biff av rein til 470,- er for dårlig. Kjøttet er for tørt og overstekt, lite smaker i saus og slapt tilbehør. Reinsdyr er en så fin råvare at det er lett å få den til bli verdt prisen. Det fortjener gjester som kommer til Finnmark. Vi vil nok bruke hotellet igjen pga plassering, men jeg mener at de bør gjøre grep for å løfte nivået.
