"This hotel is truly unique! On the cliff overlooking the sea and next to the ruins of King Arthur’s castle. Dinner was excellent (borsch and venison). Breakfast was fine. Staff are helpful and friendly. The owner had even upgraded my room. Plenty of onsite parking. Incredible location!"

"Nice location in the town. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower bathroom, decent shower. Hospitality tray well stocked. Definitely would stay again. Didn't try the breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful."

"Ground floor room in the annexe. Quite spacious with a small but functional bathroom which was very clean. The car parking was snug but free. Breakfast is served in the main hotel block just a few steps away. "

"The staff was incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms and restaurant and surroundings very good. The pool, however, was very chilly. Since this hotel is considered a resort, spending time in the pool is part of the enjoyment. You definitely had to keep moving when in the pool to keep warm. "

"Our room was spotless and even a box of goodies for our little dog. The staff were happy and helpful and having had two dinners and two breakfasts there, I food was hot (I'm fussy!) and delicious. Can't wait to return!"

"Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. Would definitely stay there again"

"Hoped to stay in old part, not quite the same atmosphere in newer section! Toilet was dirty and mud on floor on arrival. Ordered cheese pasty and got a meat one! Too late to change. Fish and chips were excellent, small portion plenty for each of us. A lovely place to stay, recommend read Daphne DuMauriers book. Great position to explore both coast lines. "

"Food was nice and good value. Accomodation was quiet, warm and cosy, well laid out. Flow rider was good, swimming pool could do with a clean as it was a bit green around the edges. Overall really nice and would stay again."
