We stayed in one of the Mongolian yurts, which was unlike any other accommodation we've experienced and really added to the charm — it was the main reason we booked. The yurt was rustic yet very comfortable, perfect balance. We loved being surrounded by farm animals and lush greenery — it made the whole stay feel peaceful and special. Hosts Kate and Terry were incredibly welcoming and kind. We’d absolutely love to stay again!」

「This is gem of a hotel for those looking to stay in Truro. A 10min walk gets you into the town centre, but the hotel feels a world away surrounded by lush gardens. A beautiful historic building that’s been decorated to a high standard. Staff were helpful - and I’m not sure how I managed it, but we got an upgrade to the Bishop Suite - a jaw-dropping room and a bathroom with twin claw foot tubs. Breakfast was good and so were the cocktails. 」

「Simply WOW! It is a beautiful hotel….book ahead during the peak travel season to get on the guided tour. We did the self guided tour which was very good, but a great tour guide would have filled in little bits and pieces …..plus I think there’s a haunted walk component to it! If you get a chance book Room 304 as it’s a corner room on the top floor and the ONLY one with an additional window with a decent view (4 windows versus just 3).
