「The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. 」

「Unfortunately the pictures of the property are outdated so not a true reflection of what to expect during your stay. There is a BBQ pictured yet no longer available. This is not mentioned in the description. It does also not mention that towels are not provided. Directions to the property are very poor. The postcode does not take you to the White Cross Bay holiday park where the lodge is located, this would have been very helpful and avoid us getting lost for a bit. No help desk at the...
