「The Grassington Lodge is truly minimalist. A very small room, two bath towels, and one hand towel. For the third of three nights they added a bath mat and a bar of soap. The only staff ever present was the cleaning lady and her assistant. She was kind and helpful but certainly not enough to welcome and assist guests. 」

「A steady clean hotel away from the hustle of the city centre. The staff were super friendly, special mention to Kiran on the check in desk. The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area. The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didn’t use them as I’d used a gym in the city prior to arrival. 「The attention to detail is so lovely. Everyone was really helpful and we enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the spa. A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work! 」

「Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. 」
