「Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.」

「A character historic pub in a nice rural location, although roads are very Devon and narrow in places! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good food and service with a selection of beers with real ale under gravity from the cask. Very popular with diners on a Saturday night. Room reflected the nature of the property but was clean and comfy. Good selection and quality for breakfast. Went with trad English but kippers and salmon on offer.」

「The food was absolutely top notch, dinner was amazing.
Sadly the room, bathroom could most definitely need a complete renovation. The pool, has the lining coming loose, and the jacuzzi had too many chemicals in,and the handrail looks as if it has not been cleaned for ages.
Staff were all very pleasant and extremely efficient.」

「Great spot for a traditional English experience. The staff are fantastic and helpful. I recommend the breakfast option; it has a great hot menu, and you'll get much more than just the buffet table. Rooms are clean and have all the essentials. The area is very central. It certainly appeals to an older demographic. If you're fine with that, this is a wonderful experience. Well maintained and managed.」
