Staff were kind, and the location was incredibly convenient. That being said the room was not great: some outlets didn’t work, it was warm and windows didn’t open (although there is an in room AC control) the bed was in the middle of the room which was odd (like not next to any wall). There was this weird buildup in the shower and the lighting was not great. Also the hallway had a weird smell. If you’re crashing here for one night to go clubbing or something and don’t plan to spend a lot of time in the room maybe it’s the hotel for you cause it’s cheap and the location is great.

I liked the staffs. I disliked - tv didn't work and shower head hose was leaking a lot of water. The hallway light was burnt out and hard to see the key hole.

Location is amazing. Easy check in. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The room is basically sound proof. The bed and pillows were comfortable but there was no sheet, just a duvet so hoping the cover gets laundered!! There is an odd smell in the building - fortunately not in the room. There is no place to put your things in the room - no bed side tables or a spot to put luggage. I sat on the window ledge and my hubby took the desk chair. We weren’t there to linger in the room but it was odd to not have any surfaces or shelves or chest of drawers (apart from the desk). I would likely stay again because LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!

Very good location in downtown Toronto. Bathroom was large and shower had a nice rainfall water head. Rooms were spacious. The ceiling had a lot of visible dust in the room, it could use a cleaning.

I had a perfectly fine stay at this hotel—I was in Toronto for a conference and chose to stay somewhere nearby that was cheaper than the expensive conference hotel. It met this purpose but I would try somewhere different next time. Some things to note: there’s no real reception. You enter through the restaurant and sign in at a desk under the stairs. This made check-in a tad uncomfortable and it was a bit jarring at times to come and go through a crowded restaurant. The room was clean enough, but the most scrupulous would have worried about the floors and some mould in the shower. While no smoking, this is obviously a building that did previously have smoking; other unappealing odours occasionally wafted through the rooms, halls, and main area.

I found the property of lesser value than a larger chain. The location was good. It was quiet, even though it was overlooking Spadina Streetcars. The WiFi was poor to non-existent at times (mostly in the evening) There is a small rod to hand stuff on, but little else where you might store your things. There were a few real negatives: 1-My room door stuck on closing, so a couple of times I found it ajar. Once when I was leaving, and once when I came home 😬 I had to be sure to pull it closed, or it would not close. 2- the control handle on the shower came off in my hand. 3- there was a dangerously damaged electrical box under the TV stand. I will post images if I am given the option here.

The room was beyond anything I had expected for the price I paid. Beautiful, amazing bathroom, extremely comfortable bed, huge room …. Really nicely decorated, I would stay there again for sure. Just don’t buy the sorbet it was insanely expensive hahaha

Awesome stay, and great price for the night. Hotel room was very nice and staff (Simone) was very friendly. In the room, it was very dim and I think it could definitely use some brighter lights in my opinion. However everything was very modern and clean. Our TV was not working and we had some very minor issues with the shower handle but we were only there for one night and didn’t bring it up to the staff, although I’m certain they would have been accommodating with our issues if we brought it to their attention. I think this is a hidden gem of downtown Toronto! Perfect central location. We walked almost everywhere or called Ubers that were under 10 dollars. The front doors are locked after midnight, however a staff member is quick to come to the door once you show them your room key. This gave me peace of mind and made me feel secure given the location of being downtown Toronto. For the price, room and customer service I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again! :)

Cute hotel. Massive room with lots of space!!! Just needed a place to attend a work event and near my workplace. Wasn’t aware of the $250 deposit - when I was initially told it was only $200. Not a deal breaker, truly. Would stay again

The room was very basic. Queen size bed, nice clean soft sheets. 3 piece bathroom. The TV in our room didn't work, which was a little irritating but nothing to get upset over. Overall a good place to crash at, but nothing fancy. Staff were very nice and friendly.
