"Our room was large and very comfortable, with a small round table, chairs and a sofa, a far cry From the crampef rooms we had heard about in Tokyo. The location is excellent, near high-end shopping as well as alleys crowded with restaurants. The staff is always helpful, and breakfast is a bountiful buffet. We liked everything about the Gate Hotel!"

"clean room, helpful staff with the electronic check in and out. Breakfast was okay, not much selection on the fish side but very nice staff too, will definitely stay here again as it is close to the imperial palace, no time to explore the area."

"Stay was fantastic. The room, while a bit small was well laid out and had everything you need. The hotel was very quiet and you never heard anyway in the adjoining rooms. Transportation was very easy with a direct line to Asakusa and Ginza right in front of the hotel and Tokyo Station a few blocks away."

"This was one of the best stays we've ever had. The service was outstanding, and both the breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent. Rumi and her colleague — whose name I unfortunately can't recall — were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, patient, and great listeners, even though we could only communicate in English and didn't speak the local language. They made us feel completely at home. The rooms were immaculate — our beds were always made up perfectly, and everything was kept to the highest standard. It was truly an exceptional experience in Japan. In fact, we were so spoiled by this hotel that every other stay felt like a step down as we travelled from Tokyo to other cities."
