The Toyoko Inn Tokyo Monzen is conveniently located to the subway station, close to lots of great restaurants, supermarkets and to the river. The staff was very friendly, the complimentary Japanese breakfast buffet was great. The rooms are clean, a bit snug but has all you need. Overall is is a good value and I would stay at this place again.

4 night stay in Toyoko inn. First time visitor

The breakfast was perfect as it set us up for the day. The room size was small but so are the other double room sizes in the other hotels we stayed in so not much can be done about it. The staff were very helpful in helping us eith transfer ing our luggage to Osaka which was the 2nd leg of our trip in Japan. This hitel was perfect and well within our budget. The location was 5mins walk to the train station and 2mins walk to convient stores. I will definitely recommend.

Overall, great stay here at Toyoko Inn Tokyo Monzen Nakacho Eitaibashi. We stayed for 3 nights from Dec 19 to Dec 21. The room is clean and tidy. Good varieties on free breakfast but did get busy during the breakfast period. Room only came with two sets of towels, we had to pay 100Yen per towel for our kids as fees. Not much stores or restaurants around the area, need to walk at least 5 mins to find some.

It was our first time in Japan and we had a really good experience in this hotel. Very affordable and close to transit only ~3-5 mins away from bus and ~10 mins away from the trains. Lawson (konbini) was just within 1 min from the hotel. As expected rooms are smaller than Western hotels however it was very clean. The staff were very friendly especially the very lovely and swift moving grannies during breakfast. Not only they served good breakfast but they were very attentive in making sure all the dishes were enough all the time and were very polite when needing to refill the dishes. Also they try to change the dishes everyday, mostly the meat options. I would say their breakfast is Western friendly as well while offering some Japanese style traditional food (grilled mackarel, miso soup etc.). We received new towels in a bag hanged on our door handle everyday too and were told when housekeeping would come and clean. There were free packets of lotions and facial moisturizers, combs, teas and many more goodies in front of the reception. I do hope they would fix the laundry though as it took a while for ours to dry but you would really appreciate having this amenity as some hotels in Japan don't have it at all. Overall highly recommend especially if you are on a budget! The staff made it such a good experience for us though, definitely high praises for them!
