Tokyu Stay is in a prime location right near Shinjuku san-chome train station and retail establishments. Staff was generally helpful. Breakfast buffet was just okay. No complimentary water. Room pretty small.

Everything is fine Lucky that I was staying in the biggest room of the floor, but still the room is a bit small Room is very clean, but improvements on the details are required.

The hotel is conveniently near the metro, also in front of a family mart. They offer free toiletries if you forget them. Free umbrellas to use when it rains. The rooms are quite small though, so be sure to book at least 200 sq meters. Stayed with my boyfriend and we barely had space for 4 luggages, good thing under the bed is an open space so we got to push everything under there. Also its not a daily housekeeping which was nice since we didn't need it daily. Only downside of our room was that the drawer where the safe was kept on opening and couldn't close, so I was hitting my leg multiple times. Apart from that the staff were very nice and they also have a place where they can hold your luggage until check in time or if you want it delivered somewhere.

Close to Shinjuku nightlife. Many restaurants to choose from and Shinjuku Sanchome subway right around the corner to get to major points of interest. Hotel does not have many bells and whistles but it gets the job done.

A fantastic place in Tokyo! The rooms are small, like most Tokyo hotels, but the service and location are excellent. I have stayed here many times, and really love everything about the blocks around the hotel, and the hotel itself.

I really have no major complaints about this hotel EXCEPT one: i know the rooms are known to be small, which was fine for one person, but the hotel amenities felt limited. Other than that, staff and hotel and breakfast and everything else was great. It was nice to go out and just walk everywhere.

Great place near the train station. Staff were polite and friendly. Very helpful too. One flaw if their limited housekeeping which only changes the towels and throw away the rubbish in the room. Would be better to perform cleaning too.

I have recently stayed here for a week with my daughter whilst we explored Tokyo. The rooms were a good size, nice and clean and a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back. The buffet breakfast was ok, not great and with all the cheap food options in Tokyo I wouldnt include that next time. :)

We have just completed our 8 nights stay in this hotel. The location is excellent. It is less than 10 minute walk from Shinjuku station and next to subway station. It is surrounded by restaurants and shopping stores. The room we chose has laundry machine which also has a microwave. However, they charged us additional for breakfast. The other downside is the housekeeping is limited to 1 per week. The room is small for the price. When arriving at Shinjuku station, take the East concourse exit by the police box and the mall. Then walk to the right of the main road towards this hotel. Good experience overall.

Great location, staff and area. A short walk to the Metro, izakayas/restaurants everywhere and quiet given all the activity albeit I was on the 11th floor. The washer/dryer is so nice to have on a multi-week trip. Staff were great. I would choose this or another Tokyu Stay again.

Very shabby and run down. Awful smell in room if the heat was on. The walls were marked up. The staff were super disinterested. Bathroom floor was wobbly and disorienting. Seriously considered changing hotels. Massive change since we stayed here 7 years ago. Won’t be coming back.

This is a perfectly acceptable hotel to stay in in the Shinjuku Sanchome area. The accommodations are fine, if not five star. The area it’s in is quite lively, and can be loud, although in the early hours of the morning it quiets down, unlike in Kabuchinko.

Great hotel option in Shinjuku that’s close to public transport, food, convenience stores, and shopping! Still lively but not as hectic as Shibuya. Rooms look basic but actually offered great resources (place to hang your clothes, pants steamer, laundry, fridge, and more). Definitely would book again!

Pretty good hotel
The hotel is generally good and conveniently located in the heart of Shinjuku. Public transportation is easy to access, but taxis are not due to the busyness of the Shinjuku area. The size of the room was pretty small (but probably typical for hotels in Japan) and there is not a whole lot of space to easily use your suitcase. The biggest problem I had was that the wifi was very poor, but that could have been a temporary issue during my stay.
