I rarely post any negative reviews but my stay at the Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8 was a horrible experience. The staff at the hotel gave us a room at the specified check- in time. After a long travel day with a young child and we have finally settled in the room (luggage opened, clothes out/hung), the hotel staff came by a few times without telling us what was wrong. Finally they told us that they gave us the wrong room and asked us to move!!! I was really upset about the situation but decided not to make a scene, and agreed to move. We had to repack our luggage, move them all the way to the new room, and at the same time, need to manage a rather tired & cranky toddler! The manager never came to apologize nor the hotel did anything for the huge inconvenience that they have caused my family.
The setup of the new room was also an odd one with the sink right next to the bed and the shower and washroom in a separate area. This reminded me of university dorms.
Other than the location was super convenient to the main streets and food, the experience at the hotel was horrible.
