I have high standards for hotels and The Okura has definitely owned up to its 5-star rating. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The hotel lobby is beautiful! Very spacious and aesthetically pleasing. I booked a city-view with two twin beds and the room was huge considering the average size of hotel rooms in Japan. My favorite part of the room was the view of the Tokyo Tower and the massive walk-in shower. The rooms were cleaned super well and were turned down several times a day. The hotel had the most amazing pajamas that were left on the bed every evening. I did not eat at the restaurant, but I did enjoy room service several times during my stay -the service/food was great. My mom used the pool/spa amenities and raved about them. The location of the hotel was very safe and quiet. While you are still close to the hustle and bustle of the city, the location was quite peaceful. Many restaurants and convenient stores were close by. I used uber most of the time to get around and a car/taxi was always near. Will definitely be staying at The Okura every time I come to Japan!

THe Okura is exquisite, a real 5 star experience. EVERYTHING is top notch! The only negative is that the restaurants are pricey - but you definiteiy get what you pay for. Sushi and other fish are the freshest & best cuts I've ever had. The Wagyu beef is second to none. if you want to treat yourself & dont care about price stay at the Okura!

If you like the word no, then this place is for you. Every request seems to go unfulfilled here and the overall sentiment has been disappointment. Rooms are nice and spacious and the hotel and grounds are nice enough. Beyond that get ready to fully fend for yourself compared to other 5 star hotels

Wonderful stay at the Okura Tokyo! The hotel is world class beautiful, both modern and traditional. The staff was the best part of my stay: very attentive, kind, and helpful. They went out of their way to help. Will definitely come back.

Everything was top-notch with genuine and professional service. Turn down service complete with Okura pajamas and chocolates is a beautiful touch. I saw the peak of Mount Fuji clearly from my room.

A wonderful hotel with beautiful furnishings, and an elegant Japanese feel. Feels different (in the best way) from the chains in the states - even the most premium brands. The concierge was terrific in assisting us with a guide, dinner recommendations and reservations, etc. A fantastic base for exploring Tokyo

One of the best hotels in the world.
The Okura Heritage is one of my favourite hotels in the world. It is simple and elegant. The staff is nice, efficient and effective. The location is good, quite central. A place of pure satisfaction.

The Okura is a terrific hotel and the room was great. We had a wonderful view of the bay and Tokyo Tower. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.

I booked twice without knowing it was different category of rooms, the staff was very kind to accommodating me and made sure we stayed in the same room on upper floor. It was a very nice Christmas vacation. Room is great and spacious, spa facility is great. I had a wonderful massage too. The service was also very good and helped sending my luggage to the next hotel in Tokyo while we travel to Hakone for few days. The only down side is the location. The building was on hill (the whole area), which made it a bit troublesome for my mom who loves taking a walk in early morning. Anyway, we could not predict that.
