This was our first hotel for the Japan trip and it definitely set the standards high for us. From service to hospitality to rooms and amenities everything was remarkable. I wish I had books Grandbell for my entire trip as I was really impressed.

Not recommended for more than 1 night. Hotel is just ok. Shades in the room do not eliminate the outdoor light. There was an odor of sewage coming from the pipes in the bathroom, on my last night, not caused by the hotel but the neighborhood.

It was close to Shibuya crossing. Lots of local dining options. The only complaint i have is the lighting in our room is not bright enough. One the staff members helped us carry our luggages to our 5th floor room.

This hotel is a quick 5-10 min walk from the train station. There are food places right outside the entrance, and a street over has a beautiful strip of cherry blossom trees (perfect for picture taking). The staff was friendly, available, and spoke english. The thing that most disturbs me about the facility is that it was very dingy. The walls of the hallways and rooms had dirt marks on them, the bathroom shower curtain smelled moldy, the hallways had items in them constantly so you had to watch where you walked. The whole building needs a thorough deep clean. Fresh towels and pajamas were delivered daily though.

The shower had black mold in it and sprayed water everywhere in the bathroom i slipped and almost killed myself. Room was very very small, not even enough room to put my bags. Hair on the matress snd pillows when i got there.

Unreal location! Everything was great. It was the smallest hotel room on our trip but that’s to be expected for an area like Shibuya. Would absolutely recommend!

Convenient location a few minutes walk to Shibuya station and within walking distance of the scramble but that’s it. The hotel is incredibly rundown and in desperate need of a refresh. Stayed in a non-smoking premier double which had a king size bed and a bit more space but the walls and carpet were dirty, paint was peeling, mold/grime in the bathroom, and the property generally still smelled of smoke. There’s no AC so they had a sign that said they’d be happy to open the windows but then you’re dealing with it being loud outside. Will stay elsewhere next time we’re in the area.

Mold in shower was the biggest one, although the room was dirty in general. Huge coat of dust on the shelves the towels were on, sink faucet was greasy. Also, room was incredibly hot but I couldnt leave my window open because the room was front facing and the streets of shibuya are incredibly loud at night.. enjoyed my stay at a different granbell location, but this wasnt great.

Smaller hotel located in a more quiet area of Shibuya, but easily walkable to Shibuya Crossing and other nearby areas. Room was decent size. Staff was helpful and friendly. I will gladly stay here when I visit the area again.

There are plenty of areas to eat around the hotel and it's a nice secluded little area in walkable distance to a convenience store. There are several coffee shops around the hotel as well for some morning coffee lovers and the staff was extremely professional, timely, and nice.

Excellent location
Right im the middle of Shibuya, but not so close it gets the noise. Room was clean and efficiently laid out, we were very comfortable for such a small room. We would recommend and stay again : )

The Granbell in Shibuya is in a great zone, steps from Shibuya station and yet set back and a bit quieter than many other hotels in Shibuya. Rooms are a bit run down but staff keeps rooms clean. Staff is very polite and helpful.
