Enjoyable stay. The Oakwood is a modern property in a great location in Azabu Juban. A few steps from the subway and Tokyo Tower. Lots of restaurants in Azabu Juban. Washer and dryer came in handy. Highly recommend.

Very nice and well maintained hotel. Hotel room is spotless and the kitchenette is excellent. Walking distance to the Tokyo Tower and you can see it as well from the balcony. They helped store the luggages when we made a trip to Osaka. When we came back they had already sent the luggages to our room ahead of time. Complimentary breakfast is a plus, because most restaurants don’t serve breakfast so they don’t open until 10 or 11 am. Hotel staffs are all friendly. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Train station is less than 5 minutes walking distance.

Very clean, well appointed apartments with extremely comfortable beds. Good location: Nissi food store across the street, Azabu subway station 1 block away, as well as a nice neighbour of cafes, bakeries and shops. About 25 minute cab ride from Haneda airport.

Convenient area within Tokyo. Easy access to the Oedo and Namboku lines, as well as walkable around Azabu-Juban and Shiba-Koen. In-room washer/dryer and kitchen were amazing. Coffee/breakfast in the lobby were super convenient. Staff was attentive and so helpful. 10/10 would stay here again (and plan to).

Enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and responsive. King room is smallish but adequate. Easy access to the subway and around 10 minutes to Yamamoto Line and Haneda Airport Monorail. Facilities excellent and very comfortable.

I booked this place as I liked the 'apartment within a hotel' concept, as I was staying for a week. I also liked the location as it's walkable to Roppongi and also easy to get to Haneda airport from (as I was flying out late at night). I was pleased that the room was just as I'd expected with all facilities and was quite spacious with a large balcony. I liked the view from my room (405) as it was quite high up - it did not have a full view of Tokyo Tower but I could see the top half, which was fine by me. Note that the hotel faces a 4 lane main road and can be noisy - it didn't bother me but it might be an issue for some people - however the glass doors do a good soundproofing job. I have just one small criticism: there is a large washing machine in the room but there are no facilities for drying your clothes other than in the machine itself, which I don't like to do. I improvised using coathangers on the balcony but I'd have appreciated a folding dryer rack, as the balcony is plenty big enough to use one. Other than that, everything you could want is provided and the staff were very polite and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

Oakwood Hotel and Apartments was my “homebase” for an 11 day stay in Tokyo. Great location within 3 minutes of a metro station. Grocery and convenience stores right across the street. Washer/dryer in the unit was clutch! Allowed me to bring less clothes which meant more space for souvenirs!!! Gym was small but had the essentials for active travelers. Cannot go wrong with this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The main problem is the noise since the building is right in front of the main road. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear cars, ambulance and some wired noise from outside for the whole night. Another problem that I’m not sure whether this is an unwritten rule in this hotel, I have read the reviews that the staff purposely arrange Chinese guests in second floor room even though they have 9 floors (if I remember correctly). And no surprise we also got a 2nd floor room. In our entire stay, we didn’t see any other non-Chinese on this floor. Since we only realized this after reading more reviews on other booking websites, and it was really a short trip. We didn’t bother to complain or request another floor. But I WOULD LIKE the hotel to give an appropriate explanation and PLEASE well train your staff for not treating people differently.
