Really excellent hotel and well priced hotel in a vibrant area. We stayed for 4 nights and were very happy. Clean and well kept with friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient with Jiyūgaoka station only 2 minutes walk away. Definitely recommend.

A great place! We found it very convenient to explore the area- close to trains, bakeries and shops, and we felt very safe and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and shower and bathroom were very large. Staff was extremely polite and this place was great value. Highly recommended if you want to be in the Jiyugaoka area.

We have stayed at the Pulitzer in Jiyugaoka several times. We have family who live in the area so it is convenient to catch up with them. However, it also has good train connections to the rest of Tokyo. The area around the Pulitzer is changing all the time with more and more shopping available however we did struggle to find places to eat at night. Our room was small, as most rooms in Tokyo are, and the hotel was looking tired and is in need of a refresh. However, for the price and its location, minutes walk form the station, we'd stay there again.

Excellent stay
Lovely stay in an upmarket but non-touristy part of Tokyo. Lots of great food and shopping nearby and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again when next in the area

I extended my stay here due to unforeseen circumstances on my end, and I'm glad I did! I stayed in a Queen room as a single woman traveler, and it was genuinely so comfortable. The staff are all so kind and speak English. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The area itself, Jiyugaoka, is also extremely convenient to stay in if you're exploring Tokyo. The hotel is only a small distance away from the station, less than a 8 minute walk honestly. Jiyugaoka in itself is quieter than the more popular Shibuya, and there's plenty of places for shopping and dining! And as I mentioned before: due to the well-connectedness, if you need to go to Shibuya or Shinjuku, it's about a 20-30 minute train ride. Overall, I highly recommend, especially for first-time travelers like myself who wanted a well-connected place without the hustle, bustle, and noise of larger areas.

This hotel was surprisingly inexpensive but the room was larger than expected and included all the desired amenities. The neighborhood it’s in is wonderful and only a block from the train station. Highly recommend.

The hotel is ideally situated an easy two minutes walk from Jiyugauka Station. Even though the hotel does not provide breakfast there are many eating places within a 5 minutes walk, the nearest being next door to the hotel and McDonalds a few metres away. The hotel does provide a coffee machine and snacks in the lobby. My room was spotless, roomy and included a fridge with a free bottle of water every day, a free safe and kettle and tea/coffee. I had booked a single room but was given a room with a king-size bed. I don’t know if that was normal though. As an older female traveller on her own I felt completely safe and the staff were very helpful and spoke English. The price was very reasonable and I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay within easy reach of the city of Tokyo. Jiyugauka itself is a nice town with some tree-lined shopping streets and good shops.

Great stay at Jiyougaoka
Great service of the hotel! It was 2 mins away from the Jiyougaoka station and the hotel staff were the best! They have helped me to call narita airport for my lost passport, and they wouldn't give it up until it was found. Million thanks to the reception uncle! The room was cozy and just the right size for solo traveler. The amentities includes facial cleaner and lotion! Perfect stay for ladies!
