Check in is okay, just different because it's a robot but there is staff available when needed. Staff are helpful. Room is clean, location is close to station. Breakfast could be better. No offense but I prefer Japanese breakfast instead of Indian cuisine. The first floor is smelly due to the breakfast. We have free breakfast for 2 days but prefer to go out somewhere for better one. Other than that, overall great experience.

Staff were so helpful and polite, room was a good size with all modern amenities. Only draw back there was no tv channels in any other language than Japanese but that’s fair enough

The only inconvenient thing is that it is very inconvenient to take the subway from Haneda Airport to the hotel.

Nice and clean

Nice and clean hotel. Biggest room (and bathroom) so far in Tokyo. The robots in the reception are just talking dolls. Check in is done using a normal automat and not via the robots.

I liked the location of the property and ADORED the breakfast. This hotel was very clean and the staff are responsive. We are very close to nearby train stations and the neighborhood is safe and beautiful. However, the rooms are quite small and it was disappointing when the robots didn't actually work for us to check in. While the robots are cool to look at and watch, they glitched when I scanned my passport to check in so a human had to come out and help me. Nonetheless, I would stay here again, good value for money!

A good option for budget travellers

The hotel is located near the Asakusabashi station. It is closer to the JR west exit than the other exits nearby, including the subway. It was within walking distance of Akihbara as well, so it was convenient to access shopping and dining options, and was quite central in terms of visiting other locations of interest within Tokyo. Upon arrival at the airport, the reception is not staffed, but instead is outfitted with talking dolls. It was quite...creepy... when I first arrived. It was not immediately obvious what I should do and what I should expect. I figured it out, but I think it was better to not have the dolls in the first place and just have an automated system. It was also very strange for the hotel to ask for the hotel tax at check in rather than including it with the room rate upon booking. My impression is that the hotel is quite budget conscious. For example, while guests were allowed to retrieve their own amenities from a common area at reception, no tea powder was offered, which I thought was standard at such hotels in Japan. Another example is when I booked a room with 3 beds, the hotel only provided linen for 2, which has never happened in any of my hotel stays in the past. They wanted additional money for the 3rd guest, which was fine, but this could have been made clearer during the booking process. Despite that, the wifi worked well and the hotel room was clean. I had a good night's rest.

I was a little skeptical about the robot reception but it turned out great! There is an option call staff to reception if you have any questions. The rooms were big and comfortable. There are so lockers to store your luggage if you arrive early and want to explore before check-in.

Sehr interessante Rezeption mit Robotern. Die Zimmer sind doch schon sehr klein, weil die Nasszelle im Vergleich rel. groß ist. Wir hatten zu zweit damit zu kämpfen aus zwei Koffern zu leben. Wenn man das in Tokio so sagen kann, fand ich es zentral. Zwei U-Bahnlinien ca. 100m entfernt, eine davon fährt teils direkt zu beiden Airports. Asakusa und Akibahara sind angrenzende Stadtteile, alle anderen Highlights dann 30 bis 45 min entfernt. Das ist aber normal. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt’s in unmittelbarer Nähe. Kann es ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen.
