Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

10/10 Excellent

"This is an incredible hotel. The location is just a 5 minute walk from Iidabashi train station. There are several convenience stores nearby as well as a drugstore. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Two types of pillows are provided, med and firm (beads). Bathroom includes single-use toothbrush/toothpaste packs, hairbrush, razor, bath towel, shower cap, hair band and makeup cotton pads. In our room, the toilet with a small sink was separate from the main showering area. Slippers and pj's provided. Large sizes available. Ample laundry machines available but it takes a long time to dry. 300-600 yen per wash (includes drying). Laundry room is a lounge with 2 microwave ovens and drink machines. Bottled water proved daily in your room. Phone charger available in the room as well with many optional ports. Drawer space is limited so we put some clothes on the window sill. Not an issue though! Staff are incredible! So helpful and kind! Checkin and checkout was a breeze!"

Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel

"I highly recommend this hotel to first time visitors to Tokyo because this hotel caters to Americans and foreigners. Also, the train station is across the street, and in 3 stops, one is in Tokyo Train station. The hotel also has a Family Mart, a 24 hour convenience store. This store is open 24/7, and the prepared foods are delicious and inexpensive. Every morning, I buy breakfast, water and supplies for the whole family. When we return at night, I purchase food for a night snack. The hotel also has a washer and dryer, and even hot baths and sauna. The only disadvantage is the hotel is outside of Tokyo but the train station is across the street, and/or one can take a taxi or Uber. However, the convenience, excellent service and amenities make it worthwhile to stay a little of Tokyo."

"We stayed for a total of seven days, and the hotel had very convenient facilities for reminders and management. There are many places to visit and explore nearby. Although the hotel rooms aren't large, they pay great attention to detail design, so the stay experience is great."
