I was not sure what I was going to expect for a traditional Japanese hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The check-in process was fast and they have staff to help out with the auto-mated check-in. The rooms, while small, were comfortable, clean, large modern bathrooms and a smart TV. Meaning you could stream your subscriptions to the large tv in your room without hassle. The location was great and they had an attached bar and pizza place there as well. The only negative comment was before checking in. The sign on the outside elevator says press the button if you have not checked in. The button on the outside and intercom was destroyed. We were perplexed on how we were going to get into the hotel until the elevators doors opened and someone stepped out. Anyhow, we jumped into the elevator and came to find out that we just needed to press the elevator button to gain access. My thought is to just remove the sign and replace it with one that does not add confusion or replace the button and intercom on the outside of the building. Overall nice place and I would stay there again!
