「I hate to give a bad review, but I have to. Our unit was sparsely outfitted. There were no furnishings for your cloths. Hangers on the walls for your clothes and used bath towels would be an improvement. The biggest problem was the bed! The sheet was dirty, the kind of dirt you do not want to see. Under the sheet was even worse. Bad. The housing approaching the lodge is challenged. Depressing in some instances. It smells on some days. Some days there is trash floating in the water. 「The pool is small, but great and refreshing. The staff are very nice from ground staff through to the owner. There is a space for a gym, but no actual gym, just some mats and a few light weights. The view from the gym is excellent though, monkeys and iguanas.」

The hotel is actually on Isla Pastores, which is at least a 30 min boat ride from Bocas Town. The hotel is not at all convenient for the main Bocas del Toro attractions, such as snorkeling, surfing, Starfish beach, Red Frog beach, Zapatilla Islands, etc. The hotel appears to be trying to lure customers into thinking that it is centrally located....
