"The Magnolia Hotel Houston has been my favorite hotel for many years, and my recent stay for my 42nd birthday reminded me exactly why. When my daughter was growing up, we often enjoyed monthly staycations here together, creating memories that we still cherish today. Returning for my birthday felt like coming home. The hotel is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I especially love the convenient downtown location, which is within walking distance of great restaurants, attractions, and Minute Maid Park. It made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. A special thank you to the bartender, ‘R’ who served breakfast during my stay. The service was outstanding, friendly, and welcoming each morning. Great customer service can make all the difference, and it certainly added to my birthday experience. Another favorite tradition of mine is the nightly cookie social. It’s one of the many unique touches that makes the Magnolia stand out and keeps me coming back year after year. Thank you to the entire staff for making my birthday stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend the Magnolia Hotel to anyone visiting Houston and look forward to staying again soon."

"Our recent stay at the Marriott Marquis was amazing overall. The property, amenities, and experience were wonderful. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues with our reservation, including being charged twice for our suite and not receiving the exact suite we had originally booked. After several back-and-forth conversations with staff, the situation became quite frustrating. The issue was still unresolved. Thankfully, Anisa stepped in and completely turned the experience around. She took ownership of the issue, escalated it to upper management, and made sure everything was handled properly. What truly stood out was her exceptional customer service, even after the matter was “resolved”, she went above and beyond by sending complimentary goodies and a bottle of wine to our room. Anisa’s professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made all the difference. While the booking issues were disappointing, her dedication to making things right is the reason I would consider staying here again. Thank you, Anisa, for providing outstanding hospitality and reminding us what great customer service looks like."

"We like the location and price point of this hotel when we just need an overnight stay in downtown Houston. Great location to Downtown and Midtown. Unfortunately there have some major renovation going right now that would be have nice to know ahead of time. Still a decent hotel."

"Over all it was a great experience even though it was only for one night. The property looked great, clean and the guys at the front desk were amazing, super friendly and always smiling. The only observation that I have is with the Valet’s crew, they were a bit rude in a sense that they never approached the car, might not be a rule that you guys implement but in other places they tend to approach the car and ask if you are checking in or not. They are the first point of contact so they should be more careful."
