"Nice rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately we did not like coming back to the hotel with a fight about to break out in the lobby. Police had to be called and everything. The scene was a bit off-putting during our stay."

"We stayed here on the 4th of July weekend and it met all of our needs. While just outside of a good walking distance from Hersheypark, an Uber ride cost <$10 which was far less expensive than onsite parking at the park. We were even able to see the fireworks from the amusement park perfectly from the front covered patio of the hotel! The morning complimentary breakfast was not vast, but did include make-your-own waffles, which was fun. The noise level was the downfall. This is not a quiet spot. There were so many kids running up and down the halls, yelling in their rooms and slamming room doors. If you are looking for peace and quiet - this is not it. If you need a convenient spot that is clean with free parking - this is the place."

"While this is an inexpensive, older, motel, you can see they are trying. The room had newer luxury vinyl tile and carpet. The bed was comfortable. The television worked, as did the air conditioning. The hot water was hot. The ancient vanity really needed to be replaced. The faucet set did not include the part to lift the plug so any water stayed in the bowl until you manually lifted the plug. While the tub/shower combo functioned properly, it was very old too. The continental breakfast was very limited, though the yogurt fit my bill. I did not take more than the three allotted items. Overall, if you are not one to spend a lot of money on a motel room, you could do a lot worse than this establishment. The Steak Diner (formerly John’s Diner) is convenient and has delicious, very reasonably priced, food. I give this Scottish Inn a rating of 4 because of their obvious attempts to make improvements."

"The staff and the owners were very helpful. We needed shower chair last minute for my senior parents. The owners went out of their way and found one for us. The staff was friendly. The breakfast options were great. The area was very safe as well. I would definitely recommend this place."
