「Plenty of parking. Staff friendly at check in. We had a junior suite - it was lovely. Clean / bed comfy. Breakfast was included - nice surprise. One of the nicest /best cooked buffet breakfasts we have error had in a hotel I ordered pancakes - lovely. Only neg - the heating in the stairwell - roasting!! 」

「To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. 」

「Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...

「Staff are overworked. They have to check you in while serving at the bar. We were charged by Expedia and charged a second time when we checked in for the stay. Expedia refused to assist in the resolution, saying we had to work it out with the hotel. 」
