「We had a wonderful stay at the Old Stores. Our room was beautiful, as was the shared sitting room. Breakfast was great, location perfect, host was kind and helpful. Montgomery is an interesting town with good walks around. Highly recommend.」

「We loved our stay at this property. We had dinner in the pub and the food was delicious and very generous portions, friendly staff and a room with pool table, darts and games for children. Room was large, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was amazing! You preorder the night before and can select as many items as you want from an extensive list!! Would highly recommend and would stay again if ever in the area again. 」

「The staff were lovely with nothing too much trouble. The food was superb in an amazing dining room with proper tablecloths and napkins ! This is a wonderful 800 year old castle with no lift so, if you have walking difficulties, ask for a room on the first floor. The public rooms are magnificent but the bedrooms, while perfectly comfortable, would benefit from being brought up to date. Anyway, all in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we shall be sure to return. 」
