「Spa was excellent. Loved the variety of steam/sauna rooms and pools. The outdoor pool was great and the indoor one with the glass stained roof was amazing. So chilled and relaxing. The hotel room was very spacious. Staff were friendly. The Darwin’s Bar was cosy and welcoming. We had two cocktails which were very well made. Only let down was the restaurant. If we were to stay again we’d eat somewhere else. 」

「Brilliant location. The Deputy Manager was very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was self serve and was delicious and plentiful. Parking outside the hotel is avaliable for 4 hours max during certain times (pay at meter), however you can purchase a 24 hour permit from Reception for £6. We'd definitely stay again. 「It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.」

「Lovely clean room & very little noise from the pub, which was absolutely rocking, on Saturday night. Helpful & friendly staff (who also sorted the heating for us). My Mum had the ground floor ‘accessible’ room as she has trouble with stairs & that’s AMAZING. It’s a great spot to access the town: love Buxton. Our second time there & will be returning. 」
