"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very cozy, clean, and had breakfast. Although we did not take full advantage of the breakfast offered, the location is difficult to beat."

We loved our stay here and totally recommend it! The staff are helpful and friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the food is outstanding. The buildings are extremely old and tastefully updated. We left the car in the parking lot and walked all over downtown. Looking for an excuse to return!

My husband and I were in Savannah to celebrate our anniversary and found the Eliza Thompson House to be just perfect! The staff were friendly, happy to answer our questions and full of suggestions. The location was so convenient to dining and sightseeing. Our room was just gorgeous - comfortable bed, tons of space with a desk and a sitting area. The bathroom was well stocked and spacious. The courtyard is simply beautiful, with quiet nooks to sit and read among the greenery. The food was great,...

This property has preserved as much of its history as possible. The rooms are cozy with all the necessary amenities like individual thermostat, tv, and refrigerator. Bath robes are available in the closet.
There is entertainment each night. We listened to a pianist and guitarist as well as a historian. The complimentary wine and cheese flowed throughout the 1.5 hours each night.
There are receptionists and valet attendants at your request. The breakfast was simple and served to you by their...

Lovely historic hotel with nice bar. Great location. Very welcoming and helpful man at check in. Person at check out was not. The contrast was startling. The room was spacious and lovely with a great shower.

Great location next to the waterfront of Savannah GA! Very cool, historical building and area. Loved the walkability and all the attractions in the area.

We stayed in Juliette Gordon Low room. The room was very quaint and clean. We had our own private balcony, which was great for our breakfast that was brought up on a silver platter each morning. The grounds and Inn were well kept and clean, but still had that historic Savannah feel. Michael, the conconcierge, was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for things to do and places to eat and even called to arrange dinner and a pedicab. Walter, the grounds manager, was also very...

From the moment my fiance and I arrived at the Tapoco Lodge on Monday, August 24th, until we left on Saturday, August 29th, the entire experience was incredible! First of all, the entire staff is absolutely AWESOME! They took customer service to a level neither one of us had ever seen before. We had planned to leave on Friday, August 28th, but we were having so much fun we decided to stay an extra night. We stayed the first 3 nights in the Sunflower Room. It was a very nice room with a beautiful...

We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, not overly done. The bathroom was adequate. The bed and covers could be more plush and comfortable. The room is really bright during the day. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner reservations were made for us by the staff.

We love the history and the atmosphere here. The restaurant is our favorite place to eat as we have been several time now and got engaged here last weekend. We will definitely be returning!

This bed and breakfast hotel exceeded expectations in all respects. Historical character abounds. The management is dedicated to showing what Southern hospitality means: gracious generosity, far above what is normally expected. There is a receptionist available to answer questions and provide guidance for visiting Beaufort and the surrounding area. Afternoon hors d'oeuvres, complimentary champagne, fireplace fires, a library to browse in, home-baked desserts, lovely verandas and gardens, were...
