「We were absolutely thrilled with the apartment. It was amazing—so cute and incredibly well equipped! Everything felt new and thoughtfully designed, making it a wonderful base for our trip. ​The location couldn't be more perfect. 「It was a fun, funky apartment superbly located in Bowness on Windermere. Even though we got a lot of rain during our visit, we took the ferry to see Hill Top Farm and explore the Lake District. We took a 10-lakes tour that worked out great for seeing this beautiful area!」

「Had a lovely stay, self check in was simple - detailed instructions were sent the day before. The apartment was immaculate. Furnished nicely with a well equipped kitchen. Fabulous location right in the centre yet out of the way enough to not be loud. Would recommend. 」

Note that hotels.com incorrectly shows the location on the map, house is actually over an hour walk from the center of Windermere. Further, hotels.com inaccurately details free WiFi at the accommodation. Space itself is about as pictured. Very cosy, lovely garden, however did quite aggressively smell of wet dog and conservatory had some spiders/cobwebs. 」

「The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. 」
