「A fabulous find, a short distance from family, perfect for the grandchildren, when the arrived they said it was magical when the saw the marina, they loved walking our dogs down the canal towpath and the crazy golf across the road at the farm park, plenty of places to visit around the area and a lovely place to relax in, a lovely pub with great food next door, there’s a few issues with teal house but nothing that would put us off , we will definitely be back in the near future 」

「We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). 」

「There is plenty of parking space, and it's easy to find the Lodge. All the expected room facilities are present: good decor, bed, towels and bathroom;, a warm and comfortable space. I couldn't dock a star, especially at the price we paid. Of course, there are things that could be improved! The kettle boiled just enough for the two very small mugs; our (own) teapot took 2 boilings to fill. It would be nice to have more than the bare minimum of cutlery so as not to have to wash forks after...
