"What a fabulous hotel , disembarked off the ship and walked straight in to the hotel literally across the road from the ship Rooms all ready mid morning and they are stunning , everything about the hotel was excellent and the location perfect , highly recommended"

"Excellent choice when traveling to Trieste, especially if you have an early morning outbound flight. Check in was organized, rapid and very cordial. The room was immaculate, well appointed and comfortable; the bathroom had every amenity you could wish for. I arrived about 8:30 pm and thankfully the restaurant was serving until 9:30; the service was very friendly and quick and the food delicious. The reception desk arranged for a taxi at 05:15 am which arrived on time the next morning; the breakfast buffet was already prepared and looked amazing but I only had time for a coffee. I highly recommend Hotel Major and will definitely stay there again when traveling to Trieste. The entire experience was so pleasant and in addition I felt comfortable and safe as a solo female traveler."

(If that is your bag, the selection of homemade breakfast cakes did look exceptional, too!) The rooms are gorgeous."
