「Hôtel très bien situé, au centre de la très jolie ville d’Angra. Les chambres du côté du jardin sont très agréables. Excellente literie, de l’eau à volonté. Le Rooftop sur le toit offre une superbe vue sur la ville et le port, très agréable en fin de journée. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont très bien et bien entretenus. L’hôtel n’a pas un design contemporain, mais a son petit style bien à lui. Il n’y a pas de parking, mais on trouve aisément pour se garer aux alentours.」

「Property was purchased by another hotel vendor who also owns Praia Marina Hotel. Upon arrival at Varandas, there is no one there at the reception. You have to walk over to Praia Marina to speak to them, then come back wait for someone to come over to check you in. If you are an elderly person or handicap this is a huge problem. 「I loved my time here. First and foremost, staff always had a smile and greeting and were ever ready to help me with any queries or bookings. The setting was intimate, with only 18 rooms, with coffee on tap every morning and hot breakfasts cooked to order. 「Breakfast was decent. My room was nice in size. My bed was comfortable in the main room but, the sofabed was hard and uncomfortable per my father.
