「Perfect ‘treat’ break … lovely pub/hotel. The weather was superb too! Room was everything we would put on a wish list (it was a great price on our budget so didn’t get church tower & high st views) but everything so easily walkable. Lots cafes restaurants but chose hotel as vg menu choice on a Sunday night! Thanks to all staff who were extremely accommodating & friendly. We will def visit again. 」

「We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable.
The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
「Historic hotel in a lovely market town. Very clean, reasonably priced, excellent breakfast. Dinner was tasty but perhaps the portion was a bit stingy. Miles is an excellent waiter and all round go-to person. Very personable. 」
