"The beds were very comfortable and while the room had its own air conditioning unit, we didn’t need to use it even though it was still winter. Nice big shower and separate bath. The water didn’t drain from the shower fast enough, but otherwise good. Excellent buffet breakfast with a wide selection available. Very good onsite gym that had everything I needed. The pool looked inviting, but I didn’t have time to use it. Very helpful and friendly staff. I will book again."

"I was very disappointed by how my booking issue was handled. To be fair, the staff were friendly and the free transportation service was excellent. However, the way the owner dealt with a genuine booking mistake completely changed my impression of the motel. I booked through Expedia intending to arrive around midnight and leave at 10 a.m. the following morning, but I accidentally selected the date one day later. Because of this mistake, I had to pay separately for the night I actually stayed. I immediately explained the situation and asked for a refund for the incorrectly booked night. The room was never used, I provided reasonable notice, and the motel provided absolutely no accommodation or service for that booking. Despite this, the owner refused to refund the payment simply because the booking was marked “non-refundable.” I understand that businesses need cancellation policies, but there is also something called fairness, understanding, and good customer service. Taking full payment for a room that was never occupied and providing no service whatsoever, despite being clearly informed of an honest mistake, felt extremely unfair. A policy may technically allow a business to keep the money, but that does not necessarily make it reasonable or fair. I find it difficult to understand how someone can feel comfortable taking a customer’s money when nothing was provided in return. What could have been a very positive experience was unfortunately spoiled by this decision. I l"
