This hotel is attached to a shopping mall.The breakfast was well done. Our room had such a disgusting smell that we couldn't sleep so the next day I told the reception and they sent a dehumidifier that helped a little.The pool and gym were excellent. The staff were very helpful.

Classy hotel with great staff!
Straight forward traditional classic hotel. Great service staff. Excellent breakfast staff, especially head chef; very personable to all guests, carefully describes specialty items himself.

Good hotel in general, with minor rustiness
Good: Friendly staff at front desk. Upgraded to a suite on 22nd floor. Very nice bed. Many cable TV channels. Not so good: Glass shower door wouldn’t close correctly so water spilled all over the floor after shower. Friends stayed on 18th floor, where there was unpleasant smell along the hallway.

We found this property a little tired, but the staff was welcoming and helpful. We don’t usually book into this type of property- huge hotel attached to a shopping mall..!- but we were on our way to Taichung and needed a room for three. We are early risers, but unfortunately we were unable to use the gym or pool the following Monday morning, as that is the day those facilities open at 10:30 a.m. Too late for us! Jacky, the manic breakfast chef, was certainly entertaining...!

5 Star Hotel, great location and excellent service. Shopping center from B1 to 4th floor, including Starbucks, bakery, Family Mart, food court, restaurant. Department Store Sogo is right across street.

We enjoyed their five stars service! Their concierge department did great jobs! They serve their guests with passion! Especially impressed with Barker Wang, Max Chen’s hospitality. Their breakfast was delicious! Lots of different kind of foods. Western, Japanese, Chinese .. Brasserie Chef Jacky Hsieh is one of a kind of chef. He even serve salmon salad for breakfast.

Good stay in central location
The service was good, bed was comfortable and room space is quite big. Only the hotel lobby is located at 12 floor, need to change other lift if want to go to ground floor. The hotel can tell is a bit old but decoration and everything is decent. The outdoor pool was not warm enough, our kids can not stay more then 5 mins.. it’s a pity.
