This hotel location is super convenient: close to the train station, bus routes to everywhere, 7eleven, shopping mall, restaurants... This property has a good & healthy breakfast program for only $4 / day, nice & clean, good shower & airconditioning.

Location is ard 10min walk to TRA railway station so it's good if u r taking e non HSR train. E food options r slightly more limited with focus on south east asian food rather than local taiwanese food. E nreakfsst option is a must cos u can try local breakfast n it provide u more food option. E room can be quite small if u have 3 adults with 3 luggages.

I liked that its in the central district you can find everything you need transpo, resto, and groceries. I did not like how they treated us inspite of staying with them for 2 weeks and even extended our stay and paid upon check in. (Paid:$43usd or 1290ntd / night during weekdays and $47usd or 1410 / night for weekends and $53usd or 1590 ntd) for 1 extended night) paid in advanced no question asked. But came into our 2nd to the last night of our stay. they, forced us to check out even though we still have 1 more paid night. When we showed our receipt, they said we need to pay $900Ntd more because the rate changed just on that moment (which we paid a double of weekday rate). I found it ridiculous! Who would’ve thought such things happens in reality?! Even if you paid in advance and suddenly they want to change the rate (which had been changed already) believe me theyll do! And theyll apply it to you. Also rooms are small for 3 people, and youll get sneezy and if youre unlucky you can easly get cough and colds because of the poor air quality in the rooms (i guess they never change the air filters), and some of the guests they dont have manners they stay late and loud throughout the night, lastly, they wont do anthing if you complain that the guests next to your room smokes cigarettes in the room and in the hall way.

Location is the best, from aiport and other cities. The train and all bus stations nearby. The room is a little small but for the price and accessibility, great value.

The location of the hotel is very near to Taichung station and 7-11. There is also the bus station in front of the hotel.

The Wifi in the room was absolutely horrible. Stayed for 2 nights and will never come back here again. Because of this, I had issues assessing my emails for work and had to do my work in the lounge instead, which was full of students. Horrible

Room was very very small, worn out, and cramped. I felt a little “catfished”. The photos on the website were unrealistic. The breakfast room in the basement had a very strong fecal matter smell, so pungent that you could smell it in the elevator on the way down. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The room was bad, but the hospitality was above average.

Very convenient especially If you ride a bus from Taipei. The hotel is very close to the bus terminal and Taichung station. Walkable distance to Gancheng station (where you take a bus to other regions such as Sun Moon Lake, Qingjing) and Miyahara icecream shop. We booked one double bed for 2 nights and stayed on the 3rd floor which is a bit noisy at night because that floor is kinda like hostel and has shared bathroom. The bathroom in my room is spacious a lnd clean. Blanket is a little too thin or I'm just too cold lol The check-in and check-out is done by self-service at the kiosk.

地点优，价格亲民，禁烟措施不佳
步行就能从台中火车站抵达酒店。酒店门口就是巴士站。巴士转运站也在步行范围内。价格亲民，酒店赶紧度还行。就是每年住这酒店都会闻到其它住客在室内抽烟飘散到整层楼都是烟味。极端难闻。在禁烟区的管理程度上有待进步。

Good location. Room is simple yet comfortable. However, able to smell cigarette smoke at corridor and room even though the hotel is smoking-free. When informed reception, they said may be due to someone smoking in the neighboring room and could only provide air purifying service for us. We appreciate their helpful service but this might not be a long term solution for this issue.

Had visited CHANCE Hotel four times. Convenient location, a few minutes walk to Taichung train station, good breakfast, reasonable room rates, had a pleasant stay!

Don’t expect a 5 star hotel. But definitely worthwhile for the price. Location was great (next to bus and train stations) and the room was clean.

Nice location fast check in time but it is not as clean as i though the wash room and the entrance is clean but bot the bed. I found some bug in the bed sheet, and some trash under bed.Other than that everything is fine
