Staff were friendly enough, but facilities are a little lacking. No fridge. No lamp, no cupboard. Sink in bathroom has an unsuitable tap installed, sprayed everywhere whenever I washed my hands. Plumbing not great, shower went from hot to cold and then hot again.. Had strange characters that climb on the roof (view of my window) to smoke, did not feel safe. Due to lack of furniture, I had to sit on the floor to eat...

The accommodation really really needs to be upgraded, it is a dump, the Staff were trying, but the owner not interested in upgrading. Shame as it is ideally situated near the train station to the city..

The room was pokie the air conditioning units were noisey all night the warning signs about fire alarms were outrageous especially the fire alarm in the shower if the shower is the cause for the fire alarm to activate that is the properties problem not the person staying

Paid $140 for a room with a bed and a light. No heater/aircon, no side tables, no tv. Toilet and shower were down the hallway. Staff advised they were going to get a heater and put in our room. Didn’t happen. No extra blankets. Pretty cold nite. Parking was good. Pub /bistro downstairs was very good.

right across a train station, convenient if don't have a car. overall meeting bare minimum of a place to stay for short vacation. free parking in the back, staff are kind and welcoming.

Very clean and recently renovated. Staff were friendly on arrival. There was no tv remote in our room but one was delivered very shortly after we rang reception. very close to train station, plenty of parking. Great cafe across the rd with excellent coffee!

There was a coles bag wrapped around a smoke alarm in the bathroom when we first got the room, not a good look and makes me question if they clean. Check out was 10 but someone came around before 9 waking people up asking if they were gone yet which woke us up.

It was a quick trip and close to train and family so super convenient to get to airport. The room was pretty decent bed good smallish en-suite but for the price it was fair actually. Staff were nice and friendly.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, as for everything else.. Phone reception was horrible, I couldn't charge my phone using the power point as I could put the plug in but not my chord itself, point is flush with the floor, no TV, wifi free, only tea, coffee,, milk, sugar etc was in abundance, kettle, bedding was clean and towels, toiletries were available but was greatly disappointed and will not recommend nor stay there again..

The addition of a small TV into the rooms would be a good idea. Good value for the price if you can handle communal bathrooms/showers. Bed was comfortable and if you are staying for a night then it is adequate.

The room we had was clean and had a good size with 2 queen size beds, but no cupboards for storage nor tv or any other fitout. Shared shower and toilet on the corridor. Can get noisy especially on weekends.

Read all the reviews before you book as previous problems are still happening. The manager seems nice and helpful upon arrival, but that's where it ends. Don't be deceived by their sense of naivety, because the same problems we had, have been happening for quite a while. Please note that their policy seems to be to clean your room every 3rd day, not daily housekeeping as stated... Premium TV channels in room is not true, as there is no TV in the room... Kettle with Coffee/Tea was supplied in our room, however the coffee sachets were outdated by almost 12 months and the coffee tasted sour and undrinkable. However, on our last couple of nights they did provide us with a fresh jar of coffee, which was nice... We never received any details about WIFI, so we can't verify if there was any free WIFI... The room was a good size, new looking carpet, bare grey walls, 1 small table for the kettle, no fridge, no bedside tables, no wardrobe and only 1 double Powerpoint in the far corner. Overall the room lacked vibrance. Large windows let in a lot of heat and didn't lock. There was no a/c in the room, just a ceiling fan and even in March their were a couple of nights where it was quite warm in the room to sleep comfortably. Trains were fairly noisy, although it didn't bother us too much. The shower rose and cold tap were broken in the mens only shower, the bath looked dirty and their was only 1 toilet between 17 rooms, making it uncomfortable at times. Overall 4/10

Our room didn’t even have a table with chairs to sit on and the milk in the room was off because it hadn’t been refrigerated which meant we couldn’t even have a coffee.

Nice hotel, inexpensive, clean and quiet, with good transport links. Grill downstairs is typical pub food, plenty of it and not too expensive.
