Stayed as a waypoint on a long roadtrip. Would recommend for the convenience of the bar downstairs, more food options than imaginable across the road and up the street, and the helpful staff.

The 2 bedroom apartment was much more than I expected. Large and very spacious! Went downstairs for dinner and food was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Only down side to the trip was the signage from the car park situated at the back of the venue and where you check in for accomodation was almost non existent bar one sign. However it does look like they are completing renovations so this may be a factor. Overall I would definitely book and stay again!

It was a good stay for one night. The apartment was huge and my kids enjoyed every moment of it. The kitchen cupboards where dirty and sticky and I understand there is renovations happening so I would love to see it when everything is completed. Check out was not convient as the access to cars was difficult people on the streets outside scared my children.

I recently stayed at the Guilford hotel for two days, and overall, their service was exceptional. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bed frame, as it did not meet my expectations. Additionally, the water kettle in my room was broken, and when I approached the staff for a replacement, I was informed that it couldn't be replaced at that time (7:00 AM). In my opinion, it is the hotel's responsibility to ensure that all amenities are in working order. On a positive note, the parking area was quite spacious, but I found it inconvenient that the door to access the back parking area was closed. Although they mentioned that the door opened from 10 AM to 10 PM, it poses an inconvenience for guests who need to access the area earlier than 10 AM due to early travel plans.

Worst Experience, i have ever had, Walk into the hotel with unattended reception on check in had to wait until some one realised i was waiting. 1- Walk into the room 3 x bulb was fused it was dark had to report this to be replaced and waited for the handy man to fix this. 2- Cockroaches were spotted in the, kitchen moving arround the bench top. 3- Stove had a food spills disgusting, in short i did not get the same service i paid for. i have photos of the rusted utensils and broken furniture. if you guys like.

From our first point of contact with Reception and entry to the hotel we were concerned at cleanliness and quality Of accommodation. Stairwell to carry suitcase. Drab and sterile rooms. Dirty dishwasher. Minimal cutlery. 24hour NON STOP loud music from Gaming Room directly under The Apartment. Regardless of our multiple polite requests to have music stopped at midnight we were ignored. ADVICE - do not stay at Guildford Hotel

Location is great. Parking has some issues due to hotel parking upgrades but good options elsewhere. Bristro is brilliant..food is great...serve size is huge. Price would be double in honetown. Downside..toilet and showers not cleaned in 3 days...faeces on toilet on day 1 still there day 3. No remote for tv so had to chase that up. Lots of stuff under bed when looking for remote. When booked it said daily clean...no daily clean..had to ask for new towels each day. Staff and bistro good...cleaning needs a lot of work. I got covered in paint on checkout. Walls had been painted and no signs.

The staff were great, gave me suggestions of where I could take friends to see Sydney, very helpful. I like the down-to-earth honest talking conversation. Not a pretentious wanna-be, pretending to be 5 star hotel.

Finding a place for a family of 6 is often difficult - and can be very expensive!! The Guildford Hotel was an affordable option that allowed us to get to a function as a whole family. The Room we had was amazing. Two bedrooms, recently renovated, full functioning kitchen, generous TV's in each room, Convertible futon's in the lounge. Let's be clear here, This is not my ideal at all for taking my family - it was a booking for rooms above a pub. As such, the normal noises from a pub with international footy season upon us were all there. The rooms are not that soundproofed and the outside noises of the life of Guildford were present. So - if you are requiring simple cheap accomodation in the Guildford area and you don't mind being above a pub, then it's a great choice. For us, we couldn't afford anywhere else in the general location, and as such - Thank you, Guildford Hotel, for a lovely room. :)

Clean and tidy. Check in a bit slow. Sound proofing not so good as you can hear clearly people at the corridor. Room was big and space felt comfortable. Staff was friendly and been helpful.

Didn’t like that the aircon wasn’t very warm and kept cutting out , no towels or toiletries or sheets for fold out couch and the blankets for fold out were very dirty, there was a kettle but no tea/ coffee or mugs , could hear the poker machines noise till 4am

Each guest rooms has their own air-conditioning system and there is a controller for this in each guest room. Guests can use this controller to set the desired temperature for the room and turn the air-conditioning on and off as they wish. We provide towels for the rooms based on the number of people listed on the booking. If this is not accurate, we always provide additional towels to guests as needed. I am very disappointed to hear that there was no tea / coffee or mugs in your room and will be speaking with our team about this to ensure that this does not happen in the future.
